Sumit is a banking and financial services professional for 25+years. She has 20+ years of experience with Citibank & 2+ yrs with BlackRock Services India Pvt. Ltd. as Managing Director – Country Head, responsible for developing & managing the rapidly growing operations & technology platform with 900+ officers inhouse & 330+ people with outsourced partners. Since September 2013, Sumit helped in setting up Management Consultancy & Advisory practice.
She is adept in setting up & driving large operations having previously set up Citibank’s mortgage credit initiation & backend operations, Citibank’s offsite ATM network, managing & transforming Citibank Call Centre Operations for customer care and in-sourcing & out-sourcing. She has proven track record of leadership strategy development & execution having reoriented /optimized outsourced collections at Citibank, expanding the boundaries of the Microfinance Business & establishing BlackRock’s inhouse captive Operational & Technology platform serving global clients.
