VP and Head of Human Resource, Region India – Ericsson
Sameer Khanna, Head of Human Resources for Ericsson Region India has over two decades of rich and versatile HR experience spanning across all domains within the HR function. After completing his PGD – PM & IR from XLRI Jamshedpur, he has worked in key positions in diverse industries such as FMCG, Consulting and IT. Prior to Ericsson, Sameer headed the Human Resource function for Jones Lang LaSalle, India and Sri Lanka being responsible for delivering HR across all Business Lines and Group companies.
He has been a part of various National/International Forums as Mentor, Subject Matter Expert, and Guest Speakers at events such as World at Work Annual conference in USA and NHRD’s National Conference, he has also been a key contributor to the SHRM book on HRBP (2011).
Sameer’s accreditations also include GPHR and HRMP certifications from HRCI and SHRM-SCP from SHRM, trained ATM on People Capability Maturity Model as well as trained coach under ICF approved program.
Sameer is an avid sportsman, very fond of Badminton and Squash. He believes that playing on one’s strength is the key to realize one’s true potential. Apart from being an outdoor sports person he also enjoys spending time with his children.
