Meenakshi is the Site Head for the Mumbai Center of Excellence (CoE) and is responsible for providing oversight to all the deployed functions in Mumbai. In this role, she is responsible for New Business Initiatives, Strategic Programs for Global CoEs and Site Management Operations for the Mumbai CoE. High end Quants, Analytics, Research, Application development and deployments which require strong financial domain knowledge, form the focus of the Mumbai CoE which is often referred to as the Knowledge Process Outsourcing Center.
In addition to this, she is also the Country Head HR for all the entities in Credit Suisse India with ~3200 employees. This includes both the domestic revenue generating Banking divisions and the Centers of Excellence in Pune and Mumbai. She is also the Chairperson of the India Philanthropy Committee which won her the prestigious Credit Suisse Global CEO Leadership Award for Corporate Citizenship in June 2015. She has an active involvement in the Credit Suisse Women’s Forum for India. She has been conferred the Women Leadership Award by the World HRD Congress, and has been recognized by the Asia Pacific HRM Congress as one of the 40 most talented HR leaders.
Meenakshi joined Credit Suisse in 2008 from Lehman Brothers where she was responsible for establishing Human Resources function for their Investment Banking, Securities and Private Equity businesses in India. She was actively involved in hiring and setting up HR for their Global Service Centre in Powai, Mumbai. Prior to Lehman, she worked with Mahindra & Mahindra Group for 6 years. She started her career in front line sales in an Indian pharmaceutical company, Wockhardt Ltd.
She has a passion for application oriented Leadership Development & Behavioral Interventions. She has done extensive work in the area of Role Competency modeling, Assessment Centers and Leadership Training.
She is a graduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences and has an MBA in Human Resources from Mumbai University
