Deepa is a technology professional with over 20 years of experience in directing multiple facets of IT, Services and Product development. Deepa has been with Cisco for 14 years and has been part of Information Technology, Customer Experience and Emerging Solutions groups.
Deepa graduated from Bangalore University with an undergrad in Engineering and has a Business degree from Canada. Prior to her engagement with Cisco, Deepa lead a consulting in M&A integration management.
She is passionate about women leadership development and also lead Cisco Diversity Network. She has worked with many companies to help them set up initiatives for mentoring and coaching a diverse workforce. Deepa is leading Talent cloud – an initiative to bring women back to workforce after a break in career. She is also involved with the development of the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Internet of Things (IoT) at R V College of Engineering, Bengaluru to give the next generation of students the skills and training necessary for jobs in the digital economy.
