Ashok Lodha is a Director in the Investment Banking Division at Barclays and has been with the firm since Jul 2013.
He currently manages several teams in Mumbai which supports Banking, Fixed Income Financing, Prime Derivatives businesses and Resource Management Group. In addition, he leads HeForShe initiative across APAC and is a senior adviser to Women’s Initiatives Network in India.
He’s been in investment banking for 19 years and prior to joining Barclays worked at Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank in various leadership roles.
As a school going kid he owned a startup in the business outsourcing space which continues to exist till date, now managed by his family.
He’s done his post-graduate degree in Management from Newport University, California and graduate degree in Accounting and Finance from University of Jodhpur, Jodhpur. His interests are cooking, reading, solving kakuro & su-doku puzzles and cricket.
He’s passionate towards working on various social and cultural causes and is associated with Mentor Me India, Mumbai and Bangalore Chapters of Jodhpur Association, Jain International Organization and Ananta Centre.
He lives in Mumbai with his wife and two kids.
