As CEO of M-CRIL, Arpita is leading the transformation of our 3 decades-old organisation that pioneered ratings for Microfinance companies globally. The objective is to extend its deep expertise in functional areas of due diligence, ratings/assessments, programme evaluations, risk management, training and systems support for programme implementation to help unlock funding for social entrepreneurs wanting to optimize risk, return and impact through financial innovations. My focus is also on building new partnerships and presence in the other 25+ countries in emerging markets where M-CRIL is currently active.
Prior to her current role, she has 20 years experience in Big 4 firms such as PwC, KPMG and Arthur Andersen in several senior leadership positions in their business consulting and risk consulting verticals with specialisation in Telecom domain.
She is passionate about evangelizing ethics and good corporate governance practices at the Board level. She also enjoy mentoring innovative, tech-led entrepreneurs to become sustainable and reach scale.
